This is something that has been bothering the HELL out of me since I've owned the Fascinate. Now, on 2.1 I believe animated GIF support wasn't there for most phones. (Stock) But it seems after 2.2, most phones support animated GIFs in some form.
Now what bugs me with the fascinate, is this feature seems to just randomly work. Some days it does, some hours it will. Hell, it'll turn on and off in between loading of pages. Now of course if you use something like Opera mobile, it's always there. (Unfortunately Opera renders too many mobile sites like I am using a old ass Nokia 6263, back in the WAP days)
So my main question. Why the hell does this do that? Why do animate GIFs simply work sometimes...then others it doesn't? I thought it was just a bit of code change that was needed to "turn it on" ???
Or am I the only one who is bothered by this?
