[Q] Why the screen of i897 is different from i9000?

I'm hoping someone here can help in explaining this because this is something I've NEVER seen or heard of before and in theory, I can´t find a explanation

I bought a I897 a long before, and after some I9000 arrive in Brazil and I see other models from Europe, I saw and compare both models (with digital tv and without)

And the screen of I897 is always beatifull more brillhant, more vivid, more everything.

And I can´t explain Why, since all specs I read, it´s about the same.

So, I want to know, what is the difference, because my next phone, I want the same material or stuff that make it better.

I hope I´m not too much crazy on this topic.

Well it's the glass that make than different because the 897 have a gorilla glass wish make it look nice...

Between the I9000 and I897? Or the I897 and other phones?

For the former I'd have to guess at it being screen settings in the kernel.

For the latter then you'll want to stick with Samsung and it's AMOLED displays. I think their current best is AMOLED+ tho I don't follow it closely so there might be another.

Beteween i9000 and i897. I changed my kernel a few times and continue the difference, at least for me.
I9000 is supposed to has the same glass.
