[Q] WiFi tether losing connection

I'm running EclipticRez as my Rom currently. I can connect with WiFi tether but I'm constantly kicked off and having to close my WiFi tether and restart in order to connect again... Don't believe it's a Rom issue cause it has been happening with other roms for me too.... Anybody with any suggestions on how to fix this issue I'm having?

No solution, but you are not alone. My tether is flaky now on all ROMs also and haven't found any solution yet. Works fine if I stay in one location, by if I'm driving around I lose the connection after a few minutes.

How is your WiFi strength? My tether started acting up around the same time my WiFi became flaky...doesn't connect downstairs where it uses to connect perfectly before. I'm thinking the issues are related.

Same here. Tether has always been flaky.

I have flashed and tried all sense roms at one point or another and for me Nilsp sense 4 rom holds wifi tether the best

Using Micromod's Rom and have gotten a more stable connection again. Only 3 drops over 1 hour of driving.
