Could somebody who already got his WiFi Xoom post here info about ROM version installed? It should be in Setings -> About box.

Have you already tried to unlock bootloader? I just interesting do WiFi version have unlockable bootloader (like 3G mldel have).

No, I haven't tried to unlock it yet. I haven't seen the need yet for the Xoom.

The OEM Unlock works - but the MZ603 boot.img file (WiFi+3G model) will soft-brick your MZ604 (WiFi-only) model. Don't do it yet.

Agreed. I would hold off on trying to modify the wifi only xoom until there is more information about what the differences are in the software between the wifi+3g and wifi only versions.

I guess its good to know that the unlocking works.

Xaositek: I assume when you mean that there are problems with the MZ603 boot.img file, are you talking about the stock boot.img file released by Motorola or the overclock boot.img file by coolbho3000?

Both - even the stock MZ603 boot.img file will not fix the MZ604. Tried different stuff, but no dice. Ended up returning mine and now have a fresh MZ604.

Will try to create a MZ604 stock boot.img but not 100% clear on the instructions.
