i think rooting is possible for the leaked GB roms on Defy (not Defy+) but downgrade is not possible (but who would wanna downgrade?? right )

As for Defy+, its all just speculations at the moment, the bootloader may be changed, maybe new locks, or maybe its under google now, so unlocked??

defy+ ist just defy with red-lense and slighty bigger accu, flashing defy+ leaked ginger will make a mb526 out of your 525.

already did that and flashed back to froyo, because i had to be repaired, no problem at all

cpu is the same, the hole thing is the same, for gingerbread-update u have to buy a new phone

if the earpiece issue will be fixed, it surely worth.
i'm using DEFY as the major calling phone without too many apps, battery can last for already 1 to 1.5 day.
on the other hand i have Atrix catching emails, facebook, etc.
as user point of view, DEFY is a practical cool phone with high c/p.

hey people i just wanted to know that as we all know DEFY got 2.2 late...compared to others...and thats all for it....
Will this happen in MOTOROLA DEFY+ ???

i think if the defy has such a power comparing to other devices they will lock defy+ as hard as possible . i don't think they will limitless u if they wanna sell a better product.
that's my opinion .
