[Q] Will rooting Micromax prevent future official firmware updates?

Is there any way of knowing if rooting Micromax A311 now will prevent me from getting a future official Lollipop update?
Past history of Micromax with respect to providing OS updates seems to be too rare so I am not sure if it is worth.

i am 100% sure that micromax is just going to launch a new phone of nitro rather providing
update ! so go on take a backup via cwm or twrp and then flash any rom you want
you can always restore back to stock if THEY EVER PROVIDED AN UPDATE
