[Q] Wipe Data when restoring rom?

If i wanted to get the .905 update, i would have to revert back to my stock bionic backup (correct?). In restoring my stock backup or any backup for that matter do i need to wipe data or do anything else other than go into safestrap which i am using and hit restore? thanks

The 5.9.905 update will not initialize if it does not detect a stock 5.9.902 system, you can be rooted, however.

If you're on a previous leak like 5.9.904, you have to FXZ back to 5.9.902. If running a custom ROM on a 5.9.902 base, you can just nandroid back to stock.
