[Q] Wiping efs data on sensation

Hi, i'm having some issues with gps (really slow fix, highly inaccurate) and i've found this: How to fix the GPS issue on CM and others but it's written for G2/DZ/DHD/MT4G and not for Sensation. Is it safe to use this code?

# stop rmt_storage
# dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p13
# dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p14
# reboot

oh. Then i wouldn't do that code unless your sure only the efs data is on those partitions or at all, wiping the wrong partitions will most likely brick brick your phone.

I've just realized that I've found this guide in OP of Android Revolution HD thread (faq section) which is clearly a sensation rom. But still the guide is for other devices... any ideas? Maybe there is a way to check which partition contains efs?

hmmm. Well if mike links it its probably ok. Try using the flashable version to be sure for it makes backups.

Nope, it didn't work. But I've noticed that flashing new radio fixes this. Cheers!
