[Q] Wireless Charger for Galaxy S?

    they are all compatible

    and they are not truly wireless

    you still need to connect the USB prong into the USB port of the phone to charge it

    and the prong needs to be on top of the charge pad

    it wont work if you put it outside of it

    it's basically a fake wireless charging

    I can never understand these wireless charging crap

    What is the point? You either gotta plug something into your phone or you have a case

    Case adds bulk and if you have to plug something into your phone every time then you might as well just do what your doing now

    In the very near future, nothing will need to be plugged into it--the necessary wiring will be built into the phone. Meaning you need only set it on the correct surface and it will be charging.

    In the farther future, you'll need only be in the right building, or in your car (exact location being irrelevant) and your phone is charging.

    Here's a thread where someone has pulled the coil out a Palm and fitted inside the SGS case so it uses the touchstone charger
