[Q] xoom bricked ?

That's one of the only two ways to brick it. I would stop by the irc channel, but I think you may have actually bricked it.

Clockworkmod Recovery is a wonderful tool, but doing anything for the Xoom through Rom Manager is fraught with danger for the unsuspecting. I'm surprised this doesn't happen more often.

Indeed, the word brick does get used to much. A true full user brick would mean that your bootloader got corrupted, or possibly erased. The worst thing i have ever seen on my xoom was a time when i accidently corrupted my recovery partition and got starting rsd mode 3. It was extremely scary, and i slept that night thinking i would be sending it back to motorola, luckily i got fastboot and flashed a clockworkmod recovery back up .img and was up and rolling.

Hi,

Does your xoom still respond to fastboot?

If it does, you can install the correct boot.img.
Get the correct boot.img from the motodev-website.

I had an bootloop on my device, but thanks to fastboot my device works again.
