I am currently new to xperia l. I unlocked the bootloader and installed cwm, twrp and philz recovery but none of them seems to be able to flash ANY files. I've checked all the zips. I can't install cm11 directly, i have to extract the boot.img, flash it and then only flash cm11 ROM. All of the recoveries gives me e: can't install xxxxx.zip (bad) and other errors even with the cm11 zip now i have flashed and is working. What should i know? What am i doing wrong? Please help.

Ok, I figured the problem but I have a new problem. When I try to send any files, movies, music, roms, etc to my phone, the files are all broken. When i put cm11, i got errors saying device not responding. I have to restart my phone to send new files and i cannot send large files.

I dont think so, your sistem files may be damaged but first flash stock firmware then we will see what happened :)

using Canon 1DX
i did reflash stock rom 2 times but i still get the error. what could possibly cause this problem, drivers, usb port or usb cable? I was using xperia m before but had no problems.

try to re-install driver in your pc. and for me, i always full-wipe my device first before i flash to custom rom.. maybe you should try it too..
by the way, why dont you try to download again these rom? just to make sure.
