[Q]XPeria Mini Pro(Sk17i) not charging, Flashmode working

Hi,

I recently got a Xperia Mini Pro, which was not booting any more. So I used flashtool to recover the firmware and the device was working again. But now I can't charge it, because it is neither recognized by the PC nor it likes a standard USB-charger. The flashmode and also the fastboot mode are still working so I tried to update the firmware with SEUS, which also worked. But the problem persisted. I don't think it is hardware related, because flashing works and I also opened the case and it didn't seem to be broken.

Maybe someone got an idea?

Try using another battery, you could borrow it from a friend. Maybe that's the problem

I already did that, a friend has the same phone and she was so kind to charge my battery and try it with her phone. It has normal capacity and my phone just works until it is empty again...

So your battery works fine after your friend charged it in her phone and gave it back to you?

For me it looks like there's something broken with your usb cable or with your usb port on your phone, as flash mode works but charging not
