[Q] Xperia Z1 C6943 - Updates and Dev

Helllooo guys! How's going?

I'm just waiting for my Xperia Z1 arrive. I bought C6943 version (Japanese/Brazilian), with Digital TV 1seg.
I'm just worried about official updates and developing purposes.


Will I be able to install official updates just like version C6903?
If there is any custom rom for Xperia z1, will version C6943 be supported? Or it's different from model C6943 and will be unsupported?

I don't care about Digital TV, so if I lost this function, I don't care. I just wanna have my device updated and running smoothly

Oh damn it! I just bought this C6943 version. I hope Cyanogen team works with this model too.
Btw, do you know about retail updates? Here in XDA there are some forums that are talking about new builds from Sony. Do you know if C6943 supports those updates?

Is same problem, version c6903 maybe works, same bands in lte, but needs to try.

Good news! My Xperia Z1 C6943, and the update to 2.257 worked fine . It's downloading right now.
So maybe, custom rooms will run just like in C6903

I hope the Devs wont overlook the C6943. It has radio and TV signals, which are useful at times. I wouldn't like to lose these functionalities!!! :fingers-crossed:
