i'm hearing now that its going to be locked, we won't be able to root or change roms. i'm suspicious of this but it might not matter too much, i like the sense 3.0, a lot.

Well that's why the thread asks about waiting till it's unlocked . That it is going to be locked was known well before the news that has just broke about what was found in a ROM dump.

Yea it's going to be locked. But like all HTC devices around these parts it will be unlocked and it will be rooted. So we'll get root and be able to change ROMs once it's cracked.

I dunno if I'll get it day one but as soon as I can. My HD2 is still going strong so day one is not as critical as the HD2 was from my Touch Pro which was falling apart lol.
