So I'm using my Sprint GS3 as pretty much just a Wi-Fi device.
I don't have any phone service, I use a free texting app that uses Wi-Fi and it does me good as I am hardly ever at away from home anyhow.

What I am wanting to know is, if any of you guys have any good suggestion for a good minimalistic ROM for the Sprint GS3.
I don't really care about fancy features or anything.
Something that looks nice and simple.
I plan on just flashing the Nano GAPPs so I just have the Google Play Services, so just the store and very basics.
I know there is no best rom or anything, I just want to get a few opinions on ROMs you may have tried that were nice and simple.

Right now I am testing out Carbon ROM, its pretty nice, sort of what I am looking for.
I have also tried CM11 (it seemed to drain my battery super fast though, just like fresh flashed CM11 and no apps and I was losing crazy battery life)

Also, if you maybe have a good ROM + Kernel package that is nice and sort of small/minimalistic and good on battery etc, I would love to hear it.
I don't have any Apps or anything on my phone really, as I have been flashing and testing ROMs lately, so I can flash them quick and not worry about having to do a Nandroid each time.

Thanks for any help or input you have.

It's most likely because these threads always end the same :p.

Really it comes down to how YOU use your phone and what features you want.
If you want more features then I would personally use Pac man, carbon, or sokp.
If you want lightweight without a lot of bells and whistles I would use slimbean or cm11.

Battery drain can be a number of things. I would use cpu spy and make sure the phone is deep sleeping. Also check to make sure you have no rogue apps running in background.

Most minimal aosp rom would be codename lungo d2lte
smallest gapps package would be pico modular package.

DKP and ktoonez is a good kernel to start. But if you dont want kernels neither
you can flash scripts too that help with battery / performance.

Comadose v3.5 is one or operation killjoy. Or use apps like greenify to help with
App Wakelocks and another app to check wakelocks or to see whats really hindering battery life.

Oh and there are always themes for cm11 on the playstore if you get bored of how it looks :)
