[Q] Youtube crashes after 3-6 minutes and won't restart! AT&T Note 8

Hi,

My Samsung Note 8 from AT&T keeps crashing after 3-7 minutes of watching Youtube on Wifi. It just stops buffering. It doesn't suffer this issue with any other streaming application.

Is it updated to the latest version?

You can try stopping, clearing cache and data, and run the app.

If the app crashes still, then you may have to remove it and reinstall.

I have an odd arrangement of routers, I use an old Westell 7500 series for N connectivity. It does not play well with new tech, though I have tamed it down by adjusting the advanced settings.

I am currently using these settings on my router. The defaults do not like green mode and sleep capabilities with WIFI connex.

Beacon Interval: 100ms
DTIM Interval: 10
Fragmentation Threshold: 2306 bytes
RTS Threshold: 2307 bytes
