I am confused on the status of ZSL and custom kernels. More specifically faux123's kernels and ZSL.

Per his change logs, faux stated he backported the ZSL driver back in November. Yet I have seen several recent posts saying the faux kernels do not work with amaze (most notably burst mode) because the kernels lack ZSL.

Also, show-p1984 (Bricked Kernel) says his next big thing is to crack the ZSL driver, which leads me to think no one in the community has a working ZSL driver.

Can anyone clear this up for me?

Hi,

HTC are still holding the ZSL drivers which the devs need to enable it in their kernels.
Until they are released,ZSL will not work properly.

This is correct, they have been trying to backport it from the htc amaze.

They have been trying fro backport zsl drivers, but there are issues with that that they don't have the time to overcome.
