I've had the Asus Transformer TF701T for nearly a year now, But one morning i opened it up and i tried to turn it on. I pressed the power button , I held the the power button but there was nothing happening, It should have had battery at least 50%. When I got back home I put the plug in an pressed the power button to turn it on. It turned on , when it booted it showed me 6% battery left, after leaving it a while the icon was on fully charged . So I took the plug out and it just turned off, like you would unplug a TV. I updated CM11 rom to the latest as i thought it was a rom issue but nothing. It will only turn on when it's charging directly to the tablet , it wont work through the dock, if i put it to the computer it will show me nothing. No led no screen. I don't know now if I can return it back because I have unlocked bootloader, and I'd have to ship it back to Amazon.
Any suggestions ??

I have seen this happening if you let the battery drain to 0 and the tablet crashes due to it. It will drain to varying degrees even when not in use, depending if WiFi is on, what apps you have installed etc.
Also, some users have a drain issue when the tablet is docked and put away which does not happen if you undock it first. Something you may want to look into later on...

To reset the battery you can try to connect the tablet to your PC via USB cable and leave it for 8 hours or so. The charging LED will not show anything. The voltage is too low for that, but it will trickle charge nonetheless.
Make sure your PC doesn't hibernate or go to sleep.

Aamazon will do nothing for you. The seller is not responsible for repairs, warranty or not. You would have to contact Asus to get an RMA, but they will charge you for the repair and for shipping since your warranty is void.
That could be a bundle...
Good luck

Thank you for your support. I've left it for about 12 hours, should i charge it normally or do I have to wait until the screen turns on ??

Thank you very much for your support, I sent it back to asus, and they have seemed to repair everything for me, the cause was actually because of the charger, thats what they said anyways.

I'm a happy man now and going to be flashing roms soon enough. !!
