That looks neat but the g3 doesn't have the magnets necessary to hook on correct?

There is no need for magnets, the AirDock has some kind of microfoam which "sucks" the Phone to to dock. It works with every clean and even surface. However, with the AirDock comes a self adhesive sticker with little pieces of metal in it you can stick inside the battery cover. This is then some kind of waistbelt and braces. I did'nt use it so far.

Just wondering if the metal would interfere with nfc. This is the reason I went with the groove 'n snap instead of their one with the magnet.

Looks like Tylt is releasing a wireless car charger soon. Pricey, $80 but bet you will be able to get this at discount shortly there after. Have their Vu desk charger and it works great.
