Bro adb devices is a command to be used when you are in adb mode.
When you are in fastboot mode you have to use command fastboot devices.

I had bricked my phone on Sunday. Today i have managed to get it working somehow but there is a catch here.
I had taken qcn backup long long ago on my phone.
1. If i restore my original qcn file then my mobile restores its imei no for both the sim but then my radio setting is getting locked to off position. See screenshots.
2. If i do not restore my qcn then i do not have my imei no but my radio setting can be changed to on or off. But it makes no sense as my imei no is not available, my sim card do not work.
How to restore my imei no and other information from qcn file without losing radio on/off feature.

What do you want to do exactly you tell me.
I can't unlock the bootloader (or check if it's already unlocked). I've rooted with QFIL correctly and installed TWRP. But I want try to install custom roms, and the unlocked bootloader is a requitement. Thanks for the patience
And I do not have your same result with adb

Your bootloader is unlocked if you have twrp. Out P1a42 had root since ages but custom recovery didn't appear until bootloader can be opened. You need not worry.
But choose custom rom wisely. I bricked my phone 10 times at least while trying custom roms. Take qcn backup before you proceed and follow guidelines meticulously. Read all the details and reviews carefully.

Tried to re-download the files ? Maybe files corrupted during internet transfer ?
Bro i have those downloads downloaded on my disk long long ago and all were working fine always. I have done those flashing numerous number of times using same data. So its not the currupt files something wrong somewhere else.
Anyways i changed the os from win 10 x64 to win 7 x86. Then all went well. Now i have recovered my phone.
I had to erase complete EMMC and make a single partition of 29GB ExFat and then using QFIL i installed the S288 ROM.
But it seems there are some partitions not written to ROM when we flash using S288 ROM rawprogram0.xml like fsc, ssd, modemst1, modemst2, DDR, fsg, sec, devinfo, splash, persist, misc, keystore, config and oem. Due to these missing information i am not sure what all i am going to suffer now. After first boot i did not had some of the information. I have restored my on qcn backup using QFIL. But strangely now am not able to set my CELL RADIO to ON and on CDMA workshop/ QXDM my phone is shown as CDMA mode.
I guess i need to flash stock ROM data on these partitions as the flash process wants to keep these information intact after flashing of ROM. But in my case now it is not present.
It will be great help if someone can make/give complete all partition image or ROM.

Can't help further as P1 is already sold and I am on P2
No I had checked this backup but it doesn't work in that problem. Anyways, now I have solved my problem and my vibe P1 is all good. Thanks for the help though.

hey i flashed twrp recovery through minimal adb and fastboot in my lenovo vibe p1, but when i boot into recovery, it's getting struck at lenovo logo and when i reboot the phone and reboot into recovery, it is showing stock recovery. i unlocked bootloader by using minimal adb and fastboot with command "fasboot oem unlock". what am i doing wrong? can anybody help me? i cant flash with qfil because volume up button is not working in my phone so i cannot connect my phone to qfil.
Do exactly like demonstrated in this video by me.

1. Flash recovery from adb and then reboot into recovery.
If by mistake you boot in to the system then stock recovery will be restored automatically. This is what happened in your case.
2. Ensure your recovery file is correct and not corrupted firstly boot in to the custom recovery without flashing as demonstrated in the video when you get in recovery mode you may flash super Su and then flash recovery.
its not happening
even when i try to boot into recovery before flashing, its getting struck at lenovo logo. i tried multiple recoveries and the result is same with every recovery, can you give me the exact link so that i can give it a try?
