Try su 2.46 and dalvick cache + cache delete after su install

Same happened with me.
Just now i tried different version of SU.
flash the attached su file and clean cache.
it worked for me.

2.76 working, with 2.46 stuck at Lenovo logo.

cannot flash recovery

thanks for your answer; yes i flashed P1a42_S272_160506_ROW_QPST using rawprogram0.xml, lost recovery and root alos fastboot flash recovery gave me an error even if the bootloader shows unlocked

i guess i need to flash the unlocked bootloader again to be able to use custom recovery

i got the exact same error while flashing recovery , i would appreciate your help

i flash the unlock qfil, i think it is easy , same like the twrp but get the xml unlocked and for programmer use the s285 programmer... in few mins i will make screens from qfil for u


First use this for BOOTLOADER UNLOCK

LET BOOT and oem unlock in developer

Scond use this for TWRP

after u press download, press volume DOWN and UP until u get TWRP

figured out the problem i had. in qfil, after pressing download i pushed vol up and down buttons immediately. i got in to twrp. the log i shared before is the same but i got in. then flashed the supersu. twice. after couple of restarts i have root on the rom s288.

On trying to flash TWRP on S288 (Latest Marshmallow ROM), the following error pops up:
FAILED(invalid signature and data).
So since I cannot install custom recovery, even though my bootloader is unlocked, I cannot root my phone. Anyone help?

It seems either the procedure or recovery image file is corrupt.
Try downloading recovery image again and then falsh it.
Try to boot into bootloader and temporarily boot in twrp recovery using adb command if that works then you can use same image file to permanently flash recovery image from adb itself.

hey guys when i try to hot reboot my device ,i found that wi-fi doesn't work and i must do a normal reboot to get it working .

Hey bro I didn't understand what is hot boot...
1. I restart phone and WiFi works.
2. I switched off then turn on still wifi works.

What else you want me to check exactly...

Ok understood... Hot reboot means entire system won't reboot just the main system apps restarts....


I checked and after fast boot my mobile connected to wifi network automatically.

I tried flashing the S288 TWRP backup and I also ran into loads of problem (Restart on incoming call, root explorer not working, etc). Went back to my previous s272 backup and everything went back to normal again. Guess restoring backup from someone else's phone is not really a good idea
