Hi.
I bought two P1c58 device, and I have problem with one of them. I can't get it rooted the way described in the first post. I can flash the ROM, bootloader and the TWRP with QFIL, and until that point everything is OK. But after I flash the root package with TWRP the phone goes to infinite boot. I already tried to flash a pre-rooted ROM from needrom but it's the same.
Any ideas?
PS: I tried Kingoroot too it says: Error code: 0x11F2EF
Try to use adb to confirm if bootloader is unlocked.... I think it is still locked...

I unlocked bootloader succesfully but after I flash TWRP I still get to Lenovo's recovery instead of TWRP
You did not read older posts in the forum where solution is already provided.

After you flash twrp then boot into recovery before you boot system normal.....

While system boots normally it overwrites what you just flashed. To stop that you should boot into recovery before normal system boot

Thanks, I did look for a solution but I didn't find this, I'll try it right away, but how do you get from bootloader to recovery without booting to android first?

Check out post no 114 step no 15 or 16.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=68696079

Press and hold button while flashing is about to finish as described there. So while system auto reboots you will force it in to recovery mode.

Sometimes you need to do extra staff:
  1. Open developers options and turn on:
    • ОЕМ unlock
    • USB debugging
  2. Download: unlock-bl.zip
  3. Unzip.
  4. Plug USB cable and run unlock-bl.bat
  5. wait until "Ready!" or the window disapire
  6. Ready!

i tried above steps but after clicking unlockbl.bat the command prompt is stuck at waiting for device.
any suggestions please.

NOTE:
1. Make sure you have downloaded everything that you will need before you proceed.
2. I have tried my best to include every small detail that I remember but please understand am not developer am just trying to help out.
3. Backup all important data before you start the process. There will not be data loss if you are already on S288 stock rom and just going to flash boot unlocker and TWRP. However it's better to have proactive backup than being sorry later.
4. If you are on older stock rom version then carry out all the steps to get S288 installed first then other steps. If you go to step 8 then there will be data over writing.

Steps:
1.Download P1a42_S288_160721_ROW_RAW_QFIL.rar from the link (see post no. 107 by me for link) .
2.Extract the rar file in some folder on your computer.
3.Download SuperSu from the link (see post no 82 by amitritu_1509 for link) and extract it on root of SD Card of your phone.
4.Open QFIL.
5.Load prog_emmc_firehose_8936.mbn in select programmer option.
6.If you are already on S288 version then jump directly to step 12.
7.Click on load xml file.
8.Load rawprogram0.xml and patch0.xml.
9.Switch off your Vibe P1 and connect to USB port of your computer. It should be detected as QUALCOMM COM port automatically.
10.If it does get detected click on download button.
11.Your download progress will start. After download is completed your phone will restart automatically.
12.After first boot (which may take longer time) go to settings -> Developer options and enable OEM unlocking.
13.Switch off your Vibe P1 and connect to USB port of your computer. It should be detected as QUALCOMM COM port automatically.
14.Click on load xml file.
15.Load rawprogram0_aboot+twpr.xml and patch0.xml.
16.Click on download button. While download progress is running press and hold volume up and volume down button simultaneously till you see TWRP flash screen.
17.Once you boot in to TWRP recovery then flash install SuperSu that you kept on SD Card in step 3 above to obtain root access.
18.You may restart to normal system now.

Hi Smarty_009, I am having Stock S288 ROM and was trying to follow the above steps. I downloaded vcredist_x86, QPST_2.7.422 and Qualcomm_USBDriver_2.1.0.5 from opening page. After installing Visual C++, I tried launching QPST setup.exe but it gave me the error "Setup cannot continue until all system components have been successfully installed".

I am using Win 10.

How should I open QFIL? Should I try something different?

Thanks

im trying to bypass the FRP by flasing a custom ROM but im stuck at the "getting ready" part. I havent "allowed adb debugging", i have no idea if my dad updated the phone and my dad forgot his gmail and password to unlock the device. It seems im stuck in the phone detection part, as it shows an "unknow USB device", not on a port. help please?

Or, do you guys have any idea how to bypass the FRP w/o flashing a custom ROM?

It appears you are stuck due to unsigned drivers. I am also on Windows 10 but am running in test mode as I have disabled driver signature verification. This is why I didn't face such problem. Try to disable driver signature verification and install one again to be safe before you go ahead with flashing.

Factory Reset Protection. On stock, Google will ask for your gmail account that you used previosly on the phone. And like I mentioned, my dad forgot everything about that account

Thanks. I managed to install QPST and able to launch QFIL, but I am not able to install the Qualcomm driver. When I connect the phone (when phone is switched on) with ADB debugging on, I am able to see Lenovo Composite ADB interface. I tried right clicking and update driver but it says latest driver is installed.

How can I get to install/see the "Qualcomm Lenovo HS-USB QDLoader 9008"?

Disable driver signature verification during boot in Windows 10. Then only Windows will allow you to install unsigned drivers. Also you will have to remain in windows 10 test mode during flashing process.

I did but the screen just flashes and vibrates for a split second and turns off again. Since I wiped everything, the debugging option is off.
It doesn't matter. It is detected for sure because in device manager adb device is visible as you said.

What is the problem exactly?...

Is it just that you are not able to unlock the device because you don't have pattern, pin or account details or you are trying to flash the rom but not able to.
