Qualcomm edit nv values

I am trying to add LTE bands to my Samsung S4 mini i9195i for use with ATT in the US. I have reviewed the edit for using QPST and QXDM for adding the NV values with the editor. However, I have also seen posts that if I don't want to add all LTE bands that I could use an NV calculator to determine the proper inputs for lines 06828 and 06829. Would it not be easier to use the values that I can read from a US enabled Samsung Galaxy A3 300M and use the same NV values that are on that device stock for North America? Thanks in advance if my question and solution are too simple.
