Checked mine and it says MAX 1GHZ in cpu-z pics attached...stock rom with patch, NA 1/8GB Developer edition.

...when messing with governor cpu it let you go up to only 1ghz too....

Pffffffffft...but who cares?? This smartwatch is so fast at doing anything! Has great battery life too for a watch with this kind of features.

Being enjoying this since i got it 12 days ago as its a great piece of technology :)

Besides... i bet its only a software issue thats underclocking it for some reason or bug.

So its safe to say that 1GB/8GB is clocked at 1GHZ;
While 512MB/4GB is clocked at 1.3GHZ until a possible software update?

...because this thread can go on forever..

Won't let that happen.

At this point, I am a little concerned that either all, or a major portion of the NA1900's from the last shipment are the 1.0GHz CPU.

Unfortunately, the reasons for this are far from clear yet. So we are not in any position to make claims.

I guess I am waiting to see ONE NA1900 1.3GHz, 1/8 that clocks at 1300 from a common backer, not a VID. Anyone?

I am thinking it is probably just kernel related. Like the last frequency step of the kernel is locked/or left out. Maybe an oversight by mediatek or whomever compiled the kernel for the firmware in the later December/January releases.

I flashed 13 different kernels from firmware going as far back as October from 3 different x201 brands (5 different models).Results;

512/4- 1.3GHz every time
1/8- 1.0Ghz every time

Not a kernel issue.
