hello everyone.

i have a question in my mind. At the moment, i am using Freedom OS 1.8. What happens if i take a "backup" over TWRP, and then flash a new ROM & restore my back up.

Will i end up with Freedom OS 1.8 again? or i will have new ROM (lets say Nolimits 3.7) and all my apps, videos, pictures?

I ask it, because i want to change my ROM, but i do not want to install every app from the beginning or i do not want to change settings of each application from the beginning. I do not know it is possible or not.

Sorry if it is a noobie question.

Thanks.

yes you'll end up with the image of your old rom.

Pictures video and music, ''non-oos files/app'', will remain on the internal storage no matter what rom you'll use. ( do not do a twrp internal wipe)

I,m pretty sure there's a ton of way to put a new rom and get back your stuff (app, app data, sms, etc)., but I'm still using the old way : titanium back up.

First of all, thanks for your reply.

So before getting to a new ROM, you first take a "titanum back up of your 'non OOS' data'", and flash new ROM without an internal storage wipe & restore your titanium back up? by the way, is this called a "dirty flash"? will i have any problem in my new ROM with that?

Actually, i have a similar application "super backup", but i just used it for backing up my contacts & sms. it also has a app back up option. but never used it.
