I preordered the note 2 through Verizon today but it doesnt even ship until around November 27th but the Rep couldnt even tell me what the official release day was so Im thinking about switching from Verizon to AT&T. My first question is how is AT&T's service and 4G compared to Verizon in Orlando Florida. My second question is does/will AT&T offer any options to help get me out of the contract with Verizon to switch to them. Ive heard they'll pay your cancellation fee. And lastly does AT&T offer unlimited 4g data and what do those plans have.

Too true. My friends Nexus on VZW, and moms S3 on Sprint have nothing on my S3 when it comes to LTE speeds.
He gets around 30-35 down, 5-10 up, his moms phone gets 15-25 down, 5-10 up (usually identical uploads on both networks).
My phone just blows them both away, with 50+ down (averaging 60 down at his house), and 15-20 up.

Although, that is just DFW, but I would assume its lke that in a lot of places that have good LTE signal from AT&T, but if your worried, take the 14 day test trial on AT&T, and see if you get good speeds and signal.

ATT 4G speeds destroy verizon, but if you buy into verizons marketing, that having 4g in more locations is better (dont know many people who live in more than one city) then verizon is good.

I personally would use T-mo though, ATT is utter ****e for pricing. Coming from Europe to here its a shock how much we have to pay for cell service.
