While I am familiar with rooting and flashing devices (flashed a GPE Rom on my S4 the night I bought it), most of my experiences have gone smoothly. I rooted this tablet, froze Magazine UX and a bunch of bloatware, then sideloaded the Google Now Launcher. My home screen and app drawer are vanilla Google but my bars and settings have kept the ugly TouchWiz colour scheme, icons, and layout. Did I miss a step somewhere? I've tried looking at this and the TabPro's forums and couldn't really find anything. Thanks for any help.

That stuff is cooked into the stock ROM itself and can't be significantly modified.

I hate the look of the quick settings tiles . . but trying to modify them to my liking using Xposed modules has been a fruitless exercise thus far.

About all I've done thus far is change the look of the battery icon using Wanam's module.

I wish I could figure out what service/app I could set per-app dpi to using App Settings to reduce the size of things on the notifications panel. I really don't want to do the reverse by doing a global change and then have to increase DPI settings for a bunch of apps just to avoid issues with them.
