question regarding my flash tool

Hi everyone,
In My flash tool, we have option to wipe all, instal rom and encrypt data partition. Do i need to encrypt partition?, Or i can use only option to wipe all, instal rom and lock the bootloader.

The encryption is automatic.
1) MiFlash flash the ROM
2)The phone reboot
3)The phone reboot again and encrypt your phone
4)Reboot.
