Hello, first of all thank you guys for all the work you're doing on the Nook.

I just had a couple questions about CM10:

There seems to be a few problems with it booting from certain SD cards. Is this just a software problem that needs to be fixed or is it a physical limitation of certain SD cards?

Also, is CM10 on the ROM a possibility that just hasn't been looked into yet or is there another reason for it?

It is a problem with certain cheaper SD cards and with Sandisk Class 10 cards. It is intermittent, and not well defined. But there are two threads with card recommendations. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2057611 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2064837

Because of the signed and locked bootloader, it is unlikely there will be a native ROM on the Nook for awhile. The brick potential goes way up then too.

There are various theories as to what the problem with some SD cards is; VeryGreen posted something about looking into what the B&N changes had been done on their reaeased stock source code change-sets; some people have been trying to do 4K alignment of the partitions, but while initial reports were promising, it may just be a placebo..

Success or failure seems to be very dependent on specific cards; The same model of "SanDisk Ultra 64GB microSDXC Class 10 Memory Card" I'm using without many problems on my HD+ seems to be causing people issues on those threads..
