Quickcharge 4.0

Can anyone tell me why any SD835 only supports QC3.0 atm.? As also on the U11. While the SD835 is 4.0 capable.
Will this be an upgrade by software?

Who knows the background of it?

I guess QC4 could come as a firmware update, it was the case for the A9 I'm currently using, the phone went from QC2 to QC3 via OTA...

Quickcharge 4, should come via software/firmware update, when the quickcharge 4.0 charger adapters are released.
