first the dev's need to find and unlock the bootloader, we cannot say how much long that will take because it depends on the dev's and the device, i can say about 20 days to a month and after which the recovery can be done, which will be soon if we get the bootloader unlocked , then the custom roms will come out...
well im SOL lol thanks for the info

Is there a way to delete chainfire 3d drivers from recovery mode? I think thats what is boot looping me. Sorry I know this should be posted elsewhere but its all relative to the problem I'm having.

On AT&T Version (so far rest are unlocked) flashing recovery will prompt you with a screen when attempting to boot it, stating that the firmware is not authorized by AT&T.

Do we have screenshots or anything for this? I see strings like "SECURE: signature check fail. (recovery.img)" in aboot, but I haven't seen screenshots from anyone who's actually tried.

Part of me wonders if it isn't something like the ramdisk address or the SGS2 Skyrocket with its magic byte.

Ignore my pieced together screen protector and all the dirt (went into the woods for pictures), I went ahead and flashed an unsigned boot and this is the outcome. It has nothing to do with magic bytes, but a signature.

So yeah don't try flashing a kernel

Confused

I did a factory reset from the boot menu after rooting and the Settings fails to load after intial startup. There is another thread that has the AT&T firmware available for download. Is there anything I can do to just get past the startup menus? If not, and I'm still waiting on the "bootloader" how long will it be till we have one(Based on history). I saw someone post that it could take up to a month, and in that case, I'll just file an insurance claim. Sorry if this has been stated many times but the seperate posts are confusing. Like I said, even if there isn't a way to start from fresh, does anyone know if it is possible to fix the settings issue that I'm having?

I saw someone else do the same thing and I don't think they got it fixed. Sorry man :/ Also I wouldn't outright tell AT&T you rooted. Mine seems to not care considering all the dudes down there root there **** hahah but this early in release, AT&T might be harsh on your warranty and insurance from rooting so be cautious when filing the claim if you want to get a new S4 back :p
