I have a problem, every time when I want to install one of these roms, my phone shut down and gets the Green, Red, White, Blue screen and my PC also get's the Blue screen!

Does anyone have the same problem? And hope can I install it correct on my phone? Thanks :)

OK guys... I've been away for a little while. Can someone tell me what this Task29 is for? I keep seeing it mentioned but am not certain what exactly it is.

Thanks...

Finally upgraded from an older energy ROM, and love the cookie home tab.
Analogy = Like formatting a hard drive before installing a new O/S.

Much faster than installing a stock ROM before flashing and new ROM.

Link to it in my sig!

I use it before every flash. Only takes a few seconds for the peace of mind. (some ask why. I ask, why not.)

but dont help me to change for my german QWERTZ :(

edit: found this:
HKLM\Software\Tegic\eT9\Ime\KeyboardLayouFiles

eT9.Rhodium.wwe.kmap.txt
to
eT9.Rhodium.0407.kmap.txt

--------------------------------------------------
and in
HKLM\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\KEYBD

change
"CurLang" from value="1033" to value="1031"

its right to do??
Jup.
After this you have to change the software keyboard layout to german and everything will be alright.

Transfer the rhodimg.nbh file to your microsd, power off phone, hold volume down button and press the power button, follow on screen instructions.

Maby I don't look so good but in the file i've downloaded, I only see 2 files. One CustomRUU and the other EnterBootloader no rhodimg.nbh in here. Where can I find this file?

Sorry :p

Call Waiting Wav

Don't know why so many are having problems searching for this, but some builds have a blank callwait.mid sound file - copy this one to you Windows folder to get a working CallWait.wav sound.

Then verify that it's being referred to in:
HKCU\ControlPanel\Sounds\CallWaiting\Sound

(if it shows callwait.mid, then change it to CallWait.wav )

;)

When you downloaded the ROM, it should be a .7z file. Inside that archive, you will find CustomRUU.exe and also RHODIMG.nbh.

Thanks!...

BigBadger, Yes I know... and yes, I did try a google search.
You were asking about Task29. For my first search attempt, I use at least one term I figure MUST be related and then add xda-developers because this site is pretty much THE source of such information. Therefore, 'task29 xda-developers'. Shazaam! The post that you wanted was the first result.

Here's the search results, http://forum.xda-developers.com/search.php?searchid=36976741. Only shows what you posted here and another person saying it doesn't work. Just thought this is kind of a must feature and someone would have it working and would graciously upload the proper file for it to work. Discussed a lot but seems to only a dead end every time.
Did you examine the file you are pointed to to see if it had a problem and try to replace it with another one? That is what the postings suggested.

See flashing guide (link in my sig). Sounds like you have a bad download or you have not HardSPLed.

Sigh. Anyway, hope that works. I recall dealing with that back on the Fuze but I don't know if you have the same problem or just the same symptom.

The ROM I have (see my sig) correctly shows callwait.wav

I wonder if people having the problem are using old ROMs or if the issue is not with the file, but with their phone service provider...
