Hey guys my internet hasnt been working for the past 3 days ive been looking for connection settings all online but nothing works..the 3g just swirls around and says cant connect for unknown reason..

Im using the May 1st version of this rom just the basic 2.5 one..

can one of you please post the data connection settings you are using thats working please.

Run the connection settings in the comm manager. Press Set up Data Connection and follow the instructions. Nevermind if you already tried that.

I'm a floridian myself where im at tmobile does not have 3g(panama city) make sure your in the 3g footprint. my data works fine on edge. ill be happy to share any settings with you.

Hahaha....ive been trying to do some work, _and occasionally check for new builds/posts_ its late, im tired, and then you come along f...ing w my head. (im thinking how the hell did i miss this post yesterday!!!)
I wasnt kidding b4, i seriously looked out the window trying to get some perspective and clear my head........anyway its all good...thanks for waking me up!

Thanks but im definitely supposed to be getting the 3g..the icon is there and it says 3g but everytime i try to use the internet or update the weather it goes away and tells me it cant connect.

I tried the com manager before and it didnt work but i just tried it again and still nothing :?

I have never had to mess with it myself but make sure your access piont name is epc.tmobile.com in settings/connections/connections/ advanced tab, select networks, tmobile data, edit, edit again there is no username or password. should be the same for tmobile internet too. if your set to tmobile data as default try tmobile internet or visa versa i noticed tethering that tmobile data works more often.

edit there is no tmobile internet in those settings sorry usually there in other roms if it is there change to tmobile data as default

hi every one ,just got done setting up the 21903 2.5 energyrom with cookie monster's home .i set my wallpaper on the home screen just fine .but on the lock screen one it puts it in a bunch of little ones ,not full screen is there a way to change this?no biggie if not. . thanks to nrgz28 for all your great work !

no. in other roms there is a second one. what radio are you using? if your on 91 or the latest tmo one then a hard reset or reflash may help.

I'm from Panama City too.


I've noticed with the last few ROMS that my data on edge has been sketchy. In parts of Star Ave, Hwy 231, and Hwy 98 I'll lose my connection and it will take several minutes to retain a signal. Never had that problem a month ago. Weird.

i dont get that myself. i live in callway work downtown im allover that area. what radio r u on?

no. in other roms there is a second one. what radio are you using? if your on 91 or the latest tmo one then a hard reset or reflash may help.

The radio version says 4.49.25.57 i dont think i ever changed the radio from stock i just flashed a few roms

ya definitely flash 91 may do the trick, may also improve battery life, gps, bluetooth all that good stuff

For some reason, whenever I install this ROM, my phone tends to turn off by itself, alot, and it sometimes turns off when I slide open or close my phone. (and it's not a hardware problem)

try flashing a different radio, 4.49.25.91 is suggested. Thats what im using

I am new to the Rhodium (Tilt 2), but no new to XDA: I had a Kaiser (Tilt), and a Raphael (Fuze) before.

So, I am used to seeing the same questions over and over again. I know that some people just don't bother reading or searching, but I also believe that sometimes it is difficult even to know what to search for.

That said, I would be willing to put together a FAQ, but as a collaborative effort: whoever has good questions and answers please PM me, and I will compile them. Once done, I will check with the Chef, who now is also a moderator, the best way to post and keep them updated.

Guys, lets stop fighting, and start putting together a good list that would help not only noobs, but people with experience as well.

That is the spirit of XDA and I am willing to do my share of contribution by compiling whatever you send me and also by going back on the thread and picking the questions and answers that pop up more often.

Can anyone that is trying the sense 2.5 23569 Cookie May 8th please confirm if when going to the Tasks then to select the month and day if calender comes up to set month and day. All other versions you can only change the time and a.m. & p.m.
