I received the same error last night and I ensured I granted root access to ADB Shell.
I gave up on unlocking the bootloader.
Out of habit I always run cmd prompts and batch files as admin, I'll try again tonight when I get home from work and see if it is able to unlock without running as admin. That would be strange if it does.
Thanks for all your great work!

Is there any way to keep userdata through either restoring a backup of JUST userdata or something? It'd just be a little easier to do that than have to reconfigure all of my stuff for a 3rd time.

yes backup user data in twrp if you followed my video you did that. then one you have unlocked the bootloader and booted up just reboot to TWRP and restore it

That isn't a admin rights problem just a not granting root to adb shell problem
I tried it again tonight without admin rights and with admin and it's still not working for me. I've attached some pictures. Any ideas?

@Tomsgt

I really liked the idea to copy unlock.img into frp partition, and then use fastboot to get into TWRP, kind of along these lines :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/r1-hd/development/r1-hd-amazon-bootloader-unlock-method-t3426104
Then follow up with "fastboot boot twrp.img"

Once you have the scatter file which is fully quality assured, can you add it to your unlock package ? You'd also need a script that start assuming that frp partition already has unlock.img in it. It's a lot more elegant to unlock the bootloader the very first thing, and then continue with the rest!

I have already package the unlock.img with a scatter for sp flash tool. you can find it on my site rootjunkysdl.com linked in the OP

its like you dont have a sdcard lol the file isnt being pushed to your sdcard for some reason. you can manaully copy the unlock.img to your sdcard then run the script again
Haha yea it's strange.
I did try to move the file over to the root directory and also the "download" folder and run the batch file but it still failed.
Not sure why it doesn't want to work for me. The phone works just fine.
