Hello guys,
I have translate the R3A camera (XperiaCamera R27-35059) from english to german.
Now the camera software is completely german :).
It was a lot of work.
There are two downloads available:
1) The complete R3A camera with the german language file
2) only the german language file

If you have already installed the R3A camera:
Go into the installation directory and remove the file "Camera0---.dll" and copy the german languagefile in the folder!

Hey Leute,
Ich habe die R3A Kamera Software (XperiaCamera R27-35059) vom Englischen ins Deutsche übersetzt.
Nun ist die Kamera komplett in Deutsch.
Die übersetzung hat jede Menge Zeit in anspruch genommen.
Es stehen zwei downloads zur auswahl:
1) Die komplette R3A Kamera Software mit der Deutschen Sprachdatei
2) Nur die Sprachdatei

Falls die R3A Kamera schon installiert ist:
Laden sie die Sprachdatei herunter, gehen Sie in den Installationsordner der Kamera und löschen Sie die Datei "Camera0---.dll", dannach einfach die neue Sprachdatei reinkopieren und fertig!

Dann installier einfach die englische Version (Threadtitel: "[APP] XPERIA R3A CAMERA with AutoFlash & GeoTag: CAB installer", Downloadlinks stehen u.a. in Post 145ff. auf Seite 15) und tausch die Sprachdatei aus wie oben beschrieben.

BTW: Bei mir funktioniert beides nicht - weder kann ich die deutsche Version installieren (fehlendes Zertifikat), noch wird die deutsche DLL erkannt. :confused::(

kanns leider auch nicht installieren es kommt der oben erwähnte fehler mit den sicherheitszertifkaten. Habe Version R3A des Roms.

Nachdem ich nun wieder auf die Original R3A unter WM 6.1 umgestiegen bin, muss auch ich beklagen, dass weder die .CAB installiert werden kann (fehlende Sicherheitszertifikate), noch die .DLL von der englischen R3A Camera erkannt wird (es werden keine Texte dargestellt). Unter WM 6.5 hat alles ohne Probleme funktioniert.

Link #1 doesn't really offer a solution as the problem there was solved by installing the missing certificates...

Link #2 didn't provide a solution either: the "magic" signcode tool linked @buzzdev.net disappeared from their site; the registry hack prompted me to accept the unsigned file (as described here*), but install was rejected anyway.

Somewhere else I read that this error msg could also be triggered by errors in the setup.xml...
When I compare yours to the one of the english version I notice you specified an InstallDir "%CE1%\syre\XPERIA X1 R3A KAMERA"" whereas the english version just points to "\". Unfortunately I don't have the possibilities to modify and rebuild the .cab for a test - would it be worth a try?

The problem is most probably related to the certificate of the .dll. By editing a certified .dll, the certificate is broken. I once had the same problem when I replaced some icons from a .dll file. By using this package with these new certificates I was successful to translate some english words from the original Camera0409.dll. I unsigned the .dll, used ResHack to replace the strings and then re-signed the .dll. It worked perfectly on my X1 (with WM 6.1). Unfortunately signing the provided Camera0407.dll did not seem to work. I will try to replace all the english strings from the leaked .dll with german ones from the official R3A .dll and will upload the result if I'm successful.

I just finished "translating" the Camera0409.dll. Surprisingly the auto flash and GPS related texts were already included in the official R3A file, so the only thing I had to translate manually was one single sentence. To install, you only have to extract the attached .zip file to your /Programme/XperiaCamera/Languages folder.

Syre, maybe you can make a new .cab with this file, if you like. It should fix the "missing certificates" problem. :)


German:
Noch mal kurz auf deutsch:
Mit der angehängten Datei dürfte es nun funktionieren. Einfach nach /Programme/XperiaCamera/Languages entpacken. Wenn syre noch eine .cab draus macht, sollte es auch nicht mehr zu dem Fehler mit den fehlenden Sicherheitszertifikaten kommen.

Ich bekomme es einfach nicht auf deutsch hin. wenn ich die dll umbenenne bleibt es englisch oder wenn ich die ddl durch eine "deutsche dll" ersetzte, ist gar kein Text mehr. Was ist bloß los?
