[RADIO][CWM] Radio Images

As has already been stated the content is exactly the same; they're just packed differently.
If you extract both updates and then extract the actual images you can see this for yourself (7-Zip is an easy way to do this).


Neither of these has any params update in it. This one does: MJ9ModemParams.zip by stvn1337 for Galaxy Note 2

Download .zif's version and flash in recovery.

Hey Zif, I flashed your file. And before that imnuts's. It gave me the mj9 modem and everything works great on cm11 (4.4.2) but for the life of me, I can't get wifi to work on the new Verizon base 4.3 touchwiz roms. Is there anyone who has encountered the same issue on say sophisticated rom?

*Edit*Note* I didn't create this file and I don't actually know what the param.bin image in it does. Some have reported issues with it.

Edit: just realized I had already flashed that file too. I'd downloaded it from stvn's thread. It hadn't worked then. I'll try again anyways.

Try flashing Devil kernel found here, you need the "Devil2-2.3.2-t0lte-DUAL-20140102.zip" file for i605. I have flashed the files from imnuts, stvn1337 and used the Odin file. I am using N3BULA and need to flash this kernel to get WiFi to work.

I haven't been able to flash the Odin firmware but after flashing the devil kernel mentioned and the other files, my phone gets stuck on the Verizon splash screen. I have no access to a pc. Is there no way without odining to get the tw 4.3 roms to work?

I would hold off on using this file. My WIFI was working fine until I applied this and now it won't turn on.

Update: Screwed up WIFI pretty good where I now have to resort to doing a factory reimage.

Update2: Back in business after a lost Friday night. Odin'd back to LJB factory image, unlocked bootloader and rerooted:

It also worked great for me and did not cause any issues with ace 5.0. I also posted some coments on the differences in teh packages above.

Am I understanding that this radio is what I need to go from CleanROM 3.5 which is 4.1.2 (stock touchwiz VRAMC3 with root, basically) to Sophisticated v3 (a 4.3 touchwiz ROM based on the latest leak)?

Or do I also need something else?

In other words, if I flash zif's package,

Wipe everything

Flash Sophisticated v3 (just rooted touchwiz 4.3)

I will have a functional phone here?

I've been having troubles with ODIN seeing my phone at all, so this is exactly the solution I'm looking for, if it's the case.

You need to odin the complete firmware update packages that Beans came up with. It is linked to in most of the TW4.3 ROM threads.
