Not a must but would be nice though some people learn better visually than reading and comprehending.

My computers are all torn apart. If I get them back together and one/video is not made I could do this if enough people would want it.

I am installing a new counter top and getting rid of my computer desk. I also need to reinstall Linux on my new computer I just built. So it will be a bit, but i can do when I get everything back up and running like normal.

Hi, I need to enable UMTS 900 in an AT&T HTC One, searching on the net I found this thread with radios and as far as I could understand by flashing the european radio would enable this band on my phone. I have flashed the radio successfully and even a custom rom but I still can't enable that band. Is there a way to do it or I am just wasting my time?
Thanks in advanced!

EDIT: After I have tried many things it seems it is actually working, got to try more time to tell but at least I can see the UMTS 900 network. I flashed WWE radio and did several things, but everything started working after I flashed InsertCoin 2.7.0 (SVN R15).

EDIT#2: Is not working! It seems there is no way to enable bands that are not supposed to be enabled.

.27 is already up in the latest 1540.9 FW
If you could point me in the right direction I can post it for those who still need it, but if it's already up in another thread flash away.:good:

I think he meant this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2365506

But is from the official international fw update, I can confirm has 4t27 baseband but I'm not sure it's the same as T-Mobile's US baseband, sometimes tmob has its own baseband version...

Edit: it's on the OT

Hey

My HTC One (non US GSM) has the following:
M7_UL PVT S-Off
HBoot 1.55.0000
CID-11111111
Radio-4A.21.3263.04

I have Cyanogen 10.2 and cwm 6.0.4.3.

I followed the instructions in the start of this post word for word* and tried to flash a new radio:

(4.4.2 WWE OTA/4.19.401.11) Radio_4A.25.3263.21_10.38x.1157.04L

But I received a '24: parsing error'.. Other posts said you can't flash the OTA radios in RUU (?) So thinking that was the issue I tried at the same time to flash:

(4.4.2/WWE 4.19.401.8) Radio_4A.23.3263.28_10.38r.1157.04L

This also provided a '24: parsing error' so just in case I'd b0ned anything (as 24 is not a flag listed in guide) I tried to reflash the original baseband:

(WWE 3.62.401.1/4.3) Radio_4A.21.3263.04_10.38m.1157.04L

and yet still received a '24: parsing error' meaning I actually had no successful flash...

I rebooted the phone and no change had occurred to my existing baseband BUT only difference is since I rebooted the phone I now get the HTC boot screen telling me it's a developer build and not for distribution?

Please can anyone show where I'm going wrong?

*To be clear I did this:
Connect device to Mac
./adb shell

Either boot your device in fastboot/bootloader mode by holding volume down + power button or type:
Code:

./adb reboot bootloader
./fastboot oem rebootRUU

and wait for device to reboot.

./fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
and wait for process to complete/successful.
.
..
.... Here is where i get 24: Parse error every single time no matter which file I try and flash or even if I don't relabel the radio file to 'firmware.zip'.

radio file's are flashed in recovery same as a rom not in fastboot

First post First sentence
Radio/Baseband's are to be flashed in custom recovery!

Thank you. That would explain it. I assumed that firmware and radio's were the same ( or at least one being a subset of the other, which still required to be loaded as firmware).

So just D/L the latest [(4.4.2/WWE 4.19.401.8) Radio_4A.23.3263.28_10.38r.1157.04L'] (not OTA) file - load onto sd card and then flash the zip in cwm?

Also why would a failed flash of a firmware = my HTC boot screen has since changed to the development screen?

The failed firmware flash is not what caused the red text ...unlocking the bootloader did that
