If you wanted to do it from your phone just download terminal from play store and type:
su
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p31 of=/sdcard/radio_firmware.img
When I use the above command through terminal I get:

/dev/block/mmcblk0p31: cannot open for read: No such file or directory

Although, when I use my file explorer I am able to locate the directory. Any suggestions?

Make sure you type su first and then once it takes you to another line then you input command.

I did put the su first and granted terminal permission and got the pop up confirming super user granted access to terminal. Then entered the command afterward.

Sorry, after you grant super user, type; dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p31 of=/sdcard/radiobackup.img

You could even copy and paste from here. Let me know if this command works.

No the command did not work. I found my recent version on another thread and also a newer radio. I updated from 13_10 to 24_10.my bats stayed the same but according to speed test my speed nearly doubled.

Oh ok, not sure what went wrong. The basebands you said you have, that should've also been located in this thread.

I am s-off and I have T-mobile. This is what I have now: 4T.20.3218.03

Should I stay with it or get "4A.17.3250.20_10.440.1150.04L " from here to flash the radio?

Radio experience will differ. If your not having any problems with your current radio don't change. But if you want to give a few a try grab some and flash and test .:D

That depends on your location. There is no best for everyone.

I am looking for a T-mo radio that will hang onto the LTE signal as long as possible.

I am also looking for a radio that will not get hickups when it switch between 4G and LTE. It seems to pause and hang.

Is there such a thing?

You would have to try them all and see which works best in your area. What works for Joe blow in New York may not work best for Tom in Texas.
