Here's the files for a TracFone S4 SGH-S970G. Baseband version S970GUDUAMH3.

I've managed to root it, install the T-Mobile TWRP (by renaming the build.prop to T-Mobile and using GooManager), and flash a stock T-Mobile rom, but I can't get the T-Mobile radio to install no matter I do. I've tried it with Odin and Mobile Odin per your instructions. Any help you could provide would be appreciated, thanks!
The partitions across models are different. You can't cross-flash modems unfortunately. I would love to be able to actually flash a T-Mobile modem onto my AT&T S4 i337 so I don't have to rely on the AWS mod to enable 1700 MHz (I use T-Mobile).

Thanks bro. I thought I read somewhere that you could on unlocked phones.

Since the S3/Note 2, you can't. Before that, you could flash a T-Mobile S2 modem onto a Skyrocket, for example, and enable T-Mobile frequencies. But now it results in no signal, bootlooping, and IMEI loss until you flash back your own model's modem (believe me, I've tried).

Flashing another phone's modem won't unlock your phone. Do you know if it's similar to the i337 (AT&T model) vs the M919 (T-Mobile model)? If you know which one it is (I'm 99% sure it's just a rebadged i337), you can go on eBay and pay a few bucks for an unlock code for the AT&T model, and it might work.

I think it's a rebadged M919. That's what recovery I've flashed to it and I've flashed a TMo rom (not that it matters) as well.

So, the fact that it's really just a T-mobile (or maybe AT&T), rebadged phone, wouldn't that allow me to flash the original radio to it?

I guess my thought process is, what can I change in the phone other than the rom so that the phone will believe it's a M919 so that it will accept a M919 radio? I've debated doing a full M919 odin. I know it would fail but perhaps something would stick before it fails.

I can't be the first person to think of this. There's got to be a logical reason why I can't do this.

I have an i337 and I have a T-Mobile recovery and ROM (Wicked v10) running on it. But I still use an AT&T modem with AWS mod applied separately. If you're 100% sure it's a rebadged M919, then there may be hope. People with the MetroPCS Galaxy S4 (M919N, it's literally an M919 with no T-Mobile logo on the battery cover, and only comes in white) have used ODIN to completely convert their phones to an M919. I don't know if I can find it, but I'll try. I know it exists.

Hmmm....I'm debating trying it. Does the I337 have an unlocked bootloader? I know Verizon lovked theirs down and I thought AT&T followed suit. This one does have an unlocked bootloader which is why I assumed it's a rebadged M919.

I can't use it for anything now so I may just bite the bullet and try. I can't find any Odin's for this phone so I believe I'm SOL if the Odin partially flashes and fails.

Where can I get latest GSM modem for I337?
MK2 in the first post is not latest.
Check my thread in the General Section for ALL if the i337 ATT modems. All the oldest and newest are in there. They are flashable in recovery and do not use odin to flash.

No. You have to use I9505 modems only. I don't know about the rest of your questions.

1. No. You have to use i9505 modems or you'll lose your IMEI

2. There is no such thing as an AWS enabled modem. To enable AWS, you need to have an i337 or i337M. It is a completely separate mod. The OP doesn't know what he's talking about and should take responsibility and edit his post...
