Radio Quality?

How do you all do signal wise? When I compare with my father's rezound I'm normally twenty to thirty dBm lower. It's rather disappointing and I feel like it's contributing largely to my bad battery life. I'm on Verizon.

Same carrier I'm assuming obviously?

Is your phone rooted/flashed at all? If so you may need to flash a better radio.

If you are on different carriers thats likely the reason.

P.S. - Just to be anal and correct you... your signal numbers are actually lower since they are negative numbers (i.e. -100dbm is lower than -80dbm)

Forgot they were negative lol. Anyway I'm on AOKP with Franco's kernel. Yeah, same carrier. I'll try the radios.

It's still floating between eight and eighteen lower and peaking at thirty every couple of minutes. Any ideas? I flashed hybrid 3 radios. Every three dBm is a halving in signal correct?
