Quick question: If I get an HTC One Developer Edition, does anyone know whether by flashing one of the WWE basebands, all European LTE frequencies become available? The HTC One Developer Edition site only lists the AT&T frequencies 700/850/AWS/1900 MHz (US)

I emailed HTC direct about this and they recommend me by the international variant. I wanted one for 64gb but I have had to manage :(

I would think buying the DE and converting it to the Int'l by installing the Int'l RUU would work. My understanding is that after doing this, the phone is for all intents and purposes the Int'l version.

How do you know there is an RUU out for it ?
I have international HTC one on t-mobile with hboot 154 and 2.24.401.1 firmware. Rooted installed custom Rom and wanted to go back to stock for OTA and guess what. Can't as no s-off for hboot 154 and no ruu for my device. What if that happens ?

GPE specs?

So-- for those of us that are on 4.3 gpe devices, (and getting terrible LTE performance), is there any way we can check to confirm all of our LTE bands are enabled? (Particularly on the newest 4.3 gpe radio?)

I just happened to notice that the device page over at google currently only lists 700MHz and AWS as the supported LTE bands on the HTC One gpe... weird: https://play.google.com/store/devices/details?id=htc_one . I'm worried that the 4.3 update dropped support for some of the bands for some reason.

Meanwhile, the dev edition still lists all of the hardware bands: http://shopamerica.htc.com/cell-phones/productdetail.htm?prId=41599

There's an RUU for it, but it's Android 4.1.2. You then apply the OTAs. I think you can still S-OFF using HTCDev, just not Revone (yet).

EDIT: Or, an easier solution -- flash the stock odexed ROM. You'd still need S-OFF for firmware update (I think) but you'd be mostly stock.

Ok, I'm having an issue with my signal qualtiy on my htc one, I'm with rogers, and I flashed the rom, added custom kernel and flashed the Radio multiple times, but the signal strength only shows 1 bar, but when it makes a phone call it jumps up to 4 bars, then back down immediately! I've tried numerous radios, but is this the issue? The last radio seemed to make the call Quality alot better, it was very crackly before! Any help would be greatly appreciatted, thanks!

Rom: Android revolution Hd 21.0
kernel: ElementalX 5.2
Supecid
Radio: 4A.14.3250.12_10.33.1150
hboot: 1.55 and S-off
build: 3.17.401.2

hi I'm new to this so this might sound noobish.I was told that when i accidentally erased everything on sd card and adb-pushed a rom onto it. It might have changed my radio. I guess the question is how do I make sure I have the right one and how do I change it if it's not. I'm on HTC One M7 AT&T.
when i flashed the viperone rom I lost connectivity-not completely but it was very bad. any suggestions are appreciated. TY for ur response

I'm assuming you still have a recovery installed, such as TWRP. Download the most recent AT&T radio linked at the beginning of this thread (newest is going to be your best bet). Make note of where you downloaded it to, or where you pushed it to via ADB. Reboot into recovery and flash the radio. Reboot system and you should be good to go.

No harm in trying different radios because some will work better depending on where you are. Just make sure you are using either an AT&T, GPe, or WWE radio or you're going to run into issues. For example, another carrier radio will most likely not work/not work well for your AT&T service.

Flashing other radios don't give you more bands.

Use whatever comes on your phone. If its not broken don't fix it :)

The radio has been updated numerous of times since the phone released. I'm running a custom Rom and unless I'm doing something wrong I'm not getting the radio updates.
