Random security issue when unlocking

I don't know how many of you tried this. When you enable security for unlocking and use your favorite unlocking security, sometimes the phone will not even bother to ask you to enter your pin or pattern or password and it'll unlock. I did read somewhere that it's a known issue with at&t variant of Galaxy SII. Can you people also verify the same issue?

Known issue. If you lock phone, turn on but let the screen time out without entering, then turn on again, it will skip the lock screen. It seems to only happen to the AT&T Version.
