How To Guide RAW Firmware Collection and Guide

Search This thread
All fastboot / adb commands require using the side USB-C port

Make sure you have fastboot installed
Add platform tools to PATH (post 2)

Make a backup of anything important
CONVERSION ONLY:
Make sure you unlocked the bootloader
Install Bootloader Unlock app
Launch app and follow instructions

Sign out of all Google accounts on device
Open settings -> accounts
Tap the google email address
Tap "Remove account"

Reboot into bootloader
Connect the phone to the computer
You must use the side USB port

From the system (usb debugging enabled):
adb reboot bootloader

OR

Boot the phone with volume up + power

Use a 64-bit OS to flash the raw firmware
Open a command or terminal window
"cd" to the extracted firmware folder
Execute the flash_raw/all for your OS

CONVERSION ONLY: Verify that all prefixes (CN / WW) in system/build.prop and vendor/build.prop have been converted.

I recommend using Windows to flash the firmware. If you have Mac, using a Windows image in VMWare also works. This will NOT lock your bootloader.

There is no need to move the question to a second thread because you didn't get an answer fast enough where you already asked.

Do you have a problem with me? I just wanted to ask my question in the appropriate typic

This isn't the appropriate topic. That's the point. You broke the baseband doing an EDL repair and already asked there. This thread is for flashing raw firmware, which assumes a working and unlocked bootloader. I updated the name to avoid any confusion.

So if i do all this stuff and change from CN to WW will i still get the "Hardwaresub Services" popup or is that only if you dont unlock bootloader and change your raw firmware

Is the "Hardwaresub Services" popup always on the screen/always pops up or is it just a little message in the background when you slide the notification tile down on the phone

I don't know. Mine arrived with WW. There seem to be more issues than just a notification, so I don't know that trying to decide if you can deal with it is the best option.
