Thanks FXP!
Usually when I insert my SIM card into the devices with CM, they can automatically detect APN info. However, Ray with CM7.1 cannot detect APN info, even though it has my carrier's APN info is in apns-conf.xml. In addition, Ray cannot save new APN info. Furthermore, I installed APN manager, but it cannot activate data network.
I appreciate your effort, and look forward to the fixed version!
See arc topic, other problem with data connection problems :

But don't flash the firmware for arc !!

Say “very nive work” again! And here are some small problems

1.The Keyboard light does not work when using(still working when charging)

2.The screen is not very bright

3.Camera Flash ( seem all the Xperia devices)

And, i solve the No.1 and 2 with using stock 2.3.3's light.semc.so (system\lib\hw), now it is bright and i have the keyboard light, the colour is pink......and i can't stop it even lock screen, it is turning on for ever (until power off)

here is the 2.3.3's light.semc.so, put in system\lib\hw, and change the permission:(backup first)

the colour is pink
Fabulous! Glam! :D

Thanks, its good to see progress.

I'm having occasional issues with color pickers not registering values in some apps (that worked fine in stock 2.3.3), and of course I'd prefer to be using Barcode Scanner rather than Goggles, but the camera flash is the only real issue for me.

I didn't even notice the keyboard light thing.

Brightness wise, my screen seems plenty bright? Maybe its placebo ... I run it at 40% and its plenty ... I'll have to give that light.semc a go.

Hello,

I am desperately trying to get CM7 onto my Ray.
I got to the last point, but am severely stuck here :(

When I try to flash the boot img by <flashboot -i 0xfce flash boot boot.img>
it's always stuck at <waiting for device>

I already unlocked the phone using the test point method successfully and am Using the driver provided in the CM7 Wikia from the page about installing the android sdk and fastboot.

Can anyone help?

My OS is Win 7 Enterprise 64-bit

Did you put phone in fastboot mode ?
Also : this is wrong : flashboot -i 0xfce flash boot boot.img

ON PC - run fastboot flash boot boot.img (an black window will open and will stay open untill kernel is flashed)
ON PHONE - put phone in fastboot mode (power off then press lower right key and plug usb cable) and phone LED will light BLUE

sorry, the "flashboot" was a typo.

apart from that the same error occurs when I start with the run command.

Can anyone tell me which drivers they used for their Ray und Win7 64bit?

I think that is the problem.

I had to install PdaNet to get working drivers.

Btw, what are the liveview/liveware apps for?

Yes, I had them on SEMC rom, but I still don't know :D
