of course all repacks pre-rooted.
here universal root.zip, flash it by CWM and all be ok :)
(for GB only!)
Yes, all Sony widgets saved by wway, author of this repack. Try repack! )) in original fw so many bloatware..
How does this zip work? If I flash it while on rooted .62 firmware, will I have root after I flash .84 .ftf?

root.zip? just flash it by cwm and your not rooted firmware will be rooted :)
this only for android 2.3.4.
this NOT NEED for repack84. only if you want to flash *.ftf.

OK, got it. I didn't understand your first post because I have locked bootloader, and having CWM requires rooting the phone first and installing X-parts. So no rooted .84. ftf for me. :p

locked BL is so rare at this sub-forum.. sorry, i don't know.
you can try to install repack! boots into your cwm, format data/ cache/ system/ dalvik/ and install repack. (after that reinstall cwm ones more).
and you can update kernel to last .84 by flashing from flashtool .ftf only kernel (by unchecking all other check boxes).

Vleutmans, a link to repack4pda V7 (old) toggle bar, please :D. Thx!
again ? I think posted before...anyway :)

link : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424121&highlight=repack4pda&page=10

but its easier just to fetch this attachment :)

BTW if you need a flashlight that doesn't eat resources....download "search light" (by scott main) from google play.
You can easily make a shortcut to your home screen (no widget!!) and configure the light (with menu) button either to standard or black screen.

I have an ICS rom with CTC kernel.
Is it ok to flash directly the .84 zip with the usual wipes and system format?
I alsways do it that way, and never had any issues.
So the myth to flash a complete "stock" rom in between seems "busted" :)

I switched from gb to ics to cm10 to gb to cm10 to gb etc. :)))

[edit] ofcourse you need to flash GB kernel, but i assume you know that (lupus GB kernel + wifi suits the rom very wel)

Everything works fine. Thx ;)

1. Flashed the Lupus GB kernel over the ICS rom.
2. Full wipe and format
3. Flashed .84 Rom
4. Flashed wifi libs
5. Flashed toggle bar

Flashed .86 baseband. Testing it...
One call drop so far :)

I think it's best to make a new topic to promote the rom. I have not test it yet but it looks nice.

Sent from my ST18i using xda app-developers app

This will be the next version 1.1 without bugs.
I've tested your rom for a short period:

what i liked:
- it's smooth / speed
- quick panel settings, cpu settings integrated in settings menu :good:
- slider for brightness
- toggles work good on the new firmware

what was a bit less:
- it uses more ram (probably caused by the NXT framework)
- one of my apps crashed when i want to open it (probably caused by the NXT framework) -> NMBS

Thanks for the report.
Yes, problems in the framework, but I'm working on it. In the next few days, everything will be ready- I found the problem, but few things must be redone from the zero. :fingers-crossed:
