Razer phone lags on the games I play

So I tried out my two main mobile games on the Razer Phone, which are One Piece Treasure Cruise and Fate/Grand Order. Both games were very laggy and it stayed around the 30-60 fps area. The animations were not smooth for both games and always had these slight pauses through each action. I lowered the settings to 60 Hz and 720p and I could see some improvement, but the lag was still there.
Is the Razer Phone just not compatible with these games?

Downloaded one piece games and 2 things

1 - no issues, even used Game Booster and maxed it out with out issues

2 - i hate you because i can't stop playing it now...

I tried using Game Booster and there was no improvement. Now I'm starting to think the issue is because I bought the phone off amazon instead of the official store if that makes any difference.
Welp, I've returned it for a refund and going for the Pixel 2 or S9.
Wish I could've seen my games in all of 120Hz glory :/

I bought mine though Amazon as well

Not all games are optimized to even play @ 1080p 60 Hz.... Playing games on 1440p 120Hz is still a new thing... Razer is the current flagship phone that offers this feature. Games must upgrade to perform with Razer requirements, don't blame amazon for it..
