Razor Phone 2 randomly freezes

OK, I flashed it with the arter97 kernel, reformatted, rooted, installed Magisk, got LDAC working and it still freezes....

Guessing we're just going to have to wait on a Chrome update.

I tried updating the Google play services by signing up for beta. No freezes since, but I did have a black screen once while trying to wake up the phone. I saw that it had updated a day before chrome did.

I had some freezes in chrome with videos. I turned off autoplay and haven't had one since. Videos play fine, too.

yeap, mine does it with chrome when playing videos so i started just watching my porn on my computer, jk >.> <.<

Nevermind, still freezing. This is getting dumb, now it freezes right after it boots back up from the freeze while videos in chrome. So it's a double freeze. Starting to piss me off.

Hi everybody,
Uninstall the Chrome update 76.0 and reboot. You should be back to the factory version of Chrome, 71.0. Make sure to disable auto-update in the Play Store.

Many apps rely on Chrome to render content, and build 76.0 is broken on our phones.

I manually installed build 75.0 from APKPure and haven't had any crashing/freezing either. It's definitely an issue with build 76.0.

Concerning Chrome freezes I believe it's related to the refresh rate. I've added Chrome to my games list in Cortex and then manually set it to run at 60hz. Haven't had a freeze since changing it 3 days ago. Might work with any other apps that are freezing the phone when watching videos too.
