Razr i Deskdock?

Don't think that they would fit as the MicroUSB plug is the wrong way round (on the first one you can barely see it on the picture and I guess the seond one has an HTC Sensation mounted and there the socket is the different way round to the RAZR i).

Confirmed; the Ebay dock (also Amazon.de on this thread) has the microUSB plug the wrong way around. BUT: after removing the bottom of the charger (with a screwdriver) I have found that the microUSB plug is fixed with 2 small screws inside; removing the screws, turning the small plug 180 degrees, screwing back and replacing the bottom has fixed it -alltogether 5 min work, charger looks, works beautiful (and I am not a technie!:angel!!

Shall try, when I am home; but as You can see on pic 3, the microUSB plug can be slided about 2 mm outside. In my case (as on the pic) it is in the tightest (most close to the back) stand, in this stand phone touches the wall of the charger behind.
If microUSB plug slided to the front, it would give about 2 mm extra space, needed for cover.

I found the perfect dock for me.

It's the Kidigi LC Hub

Be carefull! There are 2 version, but just one ist on the website (with wrong side USB plug)

I ordered from Amazon in Germany but the seller is UK based, so just use your Amazon site and the USB plug is right for our Ri

The Ri fits perfectly, first 4 pictures are with my case. Because of the case, the Ri can't connect to my PC (the plug is not completly inside), but charging works fine (AC mode and USB mode).

The other pictures are without the case and connection works perfectly.

I can confirm that the one from amazon Germany for the Motorola Motoluxe (XT615) can be modified. Somebody already posted the link one or two pages back:

As stated by bmszabo, the bottom can be opened to revert the usb-plug. The orifice for the plug has some extra clearance to position it with the correct spacing for our phone. Then the kevlar back lies flush on the front of the dock.

I also got that one. You have to work quite hard to get the sticky back off the bottom to change it round. Has three screws each side and also in the middle. Otherwise looks super.

ps- does anyone know how to get the dock app not to go to simply the white clock and stay with the nice dock app with weather ect.

Well my Razr i has the desk dock app preinstalled but I cant find the actual dock for sale? Is it not out yet or am I missing something?

Phone fits just fine (although the connector is tight), but it doesn't automatically fire up the dock app on the phone, which I was hoping it would.

Anyone know how this happens with the official docks? What's the detection mechanism? Signals in the connector? Magnets?

Tried that, but it isn't detected as a dock - the only thing the phone seems to know is that it's charging, not how.

If only there was landscape detection in Smart Actions I could combine that with 'on power'.

and modified it myself. the advantage resides in the adjustable micro usb plug... you just take two screws than the case can easy opened with a knive or sth. like that. two additional screws and the plug can be reserved. this can completed in a few minutes. with a bit skill you dont see any traces of processing...
bought on ebay another on with no adjustable plug. its a bit cheaper but if you turn the plug it wont fit the hole.
