Dan: I disagree. I had the sgs1 and the support on here and other sites was huge. And the ability of the device was good also. The fact that nexus s will be getting 4.1 means the sgs1 will probably get a port. The sgs2 and 3 are evolutions of the original and although the samsung build quality isn't as good as moto, they are still great devices.

I owned the Vibrant and the SGS4g and they were both slow as hell. I know the S2.and S3 are much better, but for me my Maxx us the best phone I have ever owned.

Nice. I7500 is a mid range phone no? Would explain your frustration with the speed. I'm looking forward to when we have custom kernels so we can truly unleash the beast.
