I came from CM11 on a XT1045 and I think the combination I used was going into mounts and storage and formatting /system, /data, and /cache. I also went into advanced and wiped dalvik cache.

Lights "Camera" action

Hey guys just wanted to say I'm almost entirely sure the camera issue is completely fixed in but I've had the latest build running for a good 8 hours now and have had no issues what so ever with the rear facing camera saving to camera roll ( gallery )
The issue seems to have been addressed, usually after 30 to 45 mins after booting the camera would freeze when taking a photo. After many attempts at creating a normal use day of the camera I can self confirm the crease is ironed out
Also themes is implemented.
Build version: 20150118
Cheers for the hard work.

Loving it.

Moto G 4G 4.4.4

Hello,
Sorry for posting about a question that may seem a bit trivial but I would like to know if having a moto G 4G with android version 4.4.4,
I could install the CyanogenMod 12 5.0 for moto G 4G ( Peregrine).
Thanks in advance.

SIM not recognized after flash

I flashed CM 12 successfully, but the SIM hasn't been working since. I tried reflashing the stock firmware, and my SIM doesn't work there either. I even tried reflashing CM 12 from scratch, and still no progress. Does anyone know how to get the SIM working again? I have a XT1045 MOTO G peregrine

I tried to search the main topic, but couldn't find much.
Was just wondering if it's OK to install over the new lollipop gpe bootloader or if it still gives weird screen issues.
Has this question been answered thousands of times already? Of that's the case, sorry in advance?

[THIS POST WAS MEANT TO BE IN OFFICIAL CM12 THREAD FOR MOTO G 4G (PEREGRINE). HOWEVER, SINCE I DO NOT HAVE 10 POSTS I CAN'T POST THERE. SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE THE LINK TO THIS POST IN THE CM12 THREAD. THANK YOU.]

I could install CM12 directly from Stock. Never installed CM11. I don't know if this will help someone, but what I did is:

- Wipe everything except external microSD and USB OTG (I never used it in fact, so it would give me an error if I tried to wipe it). I was using TWRP, but I guess there's no problem with other recoveries.
- Install CM12.
- Install Gapps.
- Reboot to system.

And it worked.

PD: The first time, I tried to flash CM12 (no Gapps though) after doing all wipes, then reboot to system. But it ended up in a bootloop. So I guess you'll have to install Gapps right after installing CM12, otherwise it ends in bootloop and you cannot proceed.
That means... Android 5.0 Lollipop can't boot without Gapps. Or, at least, this CM12 can't.

I can only report my experience: this superSU zip https://plus.google.com/+Chainfire/posts/1DJTvfjRFoe and philz' CWM touch http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2201860 worked for me.
I hope it helps.

CM12 issue (peregrine) - bluetooth music streaming

What is your:

Phone model: peregrine (Moto G xt1039)
CM Download url: http: // get .cm /get/mwa (apologies for spaces, forum would not let me post links)
Gapps version: 5.0.1
Radio (baseband):
CM version: CM12 (nightly 20-01-15)

Did you:

Install xposed framework? No
Restore apps in titanium backup? No
Flash another kernel? No
Are you using a supported recovery? No
start Art Runtime? No
search the thread for similar issues before posting? Yes

I am currently experiencing an issue with streaming music to a set of bluetooth speakers. It occurs using multiple different music apps.

Music plays fine using the apps without a connection to the bluetooth speakers. As soon as the speakers are connected, none of the apps I use will continue to play music. The apps are otherwise useable (can navigate menus, skip songs, press the play/pause button), the song just no longer plays. Specifically, the clock no longer "runs down" on the song (it isn't just that the sound won't play).

Logcat attached. Assistance greatly appreciated.
